Soumakh rugs

Discover the artistry of Soumakh rugs, a traditional flat-weave technique that dates back to the 7th century BC. Originating in Sirjan, Iran, these rugs are known for their raised patterns and intricate designs, including repeating diamond and star motifs and elaborate borders. Unlike kilim rugs, Soumakh rugs have a distinctive rough backing created by the loose ends of the weft threads, giving them a unique texture.

Our carefully curated collection of Soumakh rugs brings timeless elegance to your home. Whether as a focal point or a decorative accessory, these handmade rugs add warmth and style to any room. Explore our tribal-inspired designs, including the famous Verneh and Sileh patterns, and enrich your interior with a piece of Persian culture.
