Nomadic tribes travel constantly and therefore need to be able to get by with the most necessary utensils. That is why they designed the Berber rug.
Berber carpets are hand-knotted carpets made of wool with a particularly high pile, which enables the nomads to use the carpets as sitting surfaces or beds. At the same time, Berber rugs, like any classic rug, can be folded or rolled, making them easy to transport. Another feature of Berber carpets is their simple design, which is usually without decorative elements. It emphasises the functionality and the authentic natural materials used to make these rugs.
Our Berber rugs are hand-knotted from our own sheep's wool in India and then undergo strict quality control in our warehouse in Hamburg.
