Lori-Bakhtiaris are carpets made from individual pieces of fabric from traditional bags. Villagers use the bags to carry their belongings. Because of their aesthetic design, they knotted the individual pieces of fabric together to make carpets to use as decoration for their living spaces. The villagers draw inspiration for the design of the pieces of fabric from their natural surroundings.
