A Kilim visibly is a pileless rug with designs that are geometrically or chromatically arranged, and red, blue, yellow, and green as its default color scheme. It has been produced majorly in countries that were part of the former Persian Empire. Jajim, a common variation, is made by sewing together narrow strips that are woven separately.

Once traditional village rugs made mostly by women, Kilims are no longer made for personal use or in specific regions. Modern productions are different in that market demand dictates the designs, colors, materials, and every other property. Our Collection of Kilim Rugs features various modern and tribal productions made of industry’s finest wool.
