Village and nomadic rugs are characterized by their geometric, primitive design elements, which are improvised and knotted into the rugs by the weavers. Village rugs are primarily knotted by sedentary nomads, whereas nomadic rugs are more likely to be made by wandering nomads. Home-grown sheep's wool, natural plant dyes, and a unique character distinguish these rugs. Our collection includes village and nomadic rugs from various regions.
