In contrast to our other carpets, Kilims are woven and not knotted. This processing process makes the kilim very flat. This manufacturing process is also a centuries-old nomadic tradition. Nomads used the finished woven carpets not only as floor decoration, but also as wall decoration or as material to make tents, among other things. Special processing methods and natural colors obtained from plants give kilims a unique look.
